Process for Change/ Update Address and Other Details
- The application form is available with the name of the applicant who is the one to apply. Provide proof of a change in address or other specifics.

If the applicants don't have proof of change of address, he may certify the document to the following persons
- Gazetted Officer - Group A
- Village Panchayat Head, or Mukhiya
- Gazetted Officer - Group B
- MP/ MLA/ MLC/ Muncipal Councilor
- Tehsildar
- Head of Recognized Education Institution
- Superintendent/ Warden/ Matron/ Head Institution
- Recognized shelters/ Orphanages/ Shelters
- Officer EPFO
- In the meantime, you need to go to the nearest Aadhaar Center along with this Form to make an application for the alteration of your address, and you may also apply online for the address change in Aadhaar Number through this link - Address Change Link
UIDAI permits cardholders with Aadhaar cardsto change their address without needing documents. Aadhaar cardholders can change their addresseven if they had not presented ID proof.
New Delhi: The Unique Identification Authority of India has temporarily halted a vital facility which allows you to alter your Aadhaar card's address without proof of address.
UIDAI lets cardholders with Aadhaar cards to change their address without needing any form of documentation. Aadhaar cardholders are able to change their address as long as they accept the authorization for the verification of address. An address verifier could be a relative, friend, landlord or family member who allows the Aadhaar card owner to verify their address.
UIDAI has stopped using this feature. UIDAI provided a response to an Card Holder by tweeting that the ability to update the address on Aadhaar Card via Address Validation Letter was canceled. UIDAI has requested an Aadhaar issuer to advise the user that they have the option to update their address by using another authentic PoA document.

UIDAI gives the following document to be POA documents (Proof Of Address) documents that include Name and Address for Aadhaar cards
Passport
Statement/Passbook for Post Office Accounts
Driving licence
Water Bill (not older that 3 months)
Telephone Landline Bill (not older that 3 months)
Summary of Credit Card (not longer than 3 months).
A signed letter with a photograph from a official company registered on letterhead
Pensioner Card
Freedom Fighter Card
Kissan Passbook
Passport of Spouse
Travel documents of parents (in the event of minors)
Central/ State Govt. issued an allotment notice for accommodation. (Not more than 3 years)
Bhamashah/Jan Aadhaar card issued Governmentt. Rajasthan
Certificate from the Superintendent/ Wardenor Matron/ Head of Institution of shelter homes that are recognized orphanages, etc. on UIDAI standard certificate format for enrolment/ update
